Not many people can say that they’ve been involved with a project site for over 50 years but that’s what photographer Harry Cory Wright can claim with his recently released series Hey Charlie. Fascinated with a specific spot in Norfolk, East England, where he spent his childhood days, Cory Wright shot a specific bend in the river and the field beside it with a whole lot of magic.
“Against the Grain: Wood in Contemporary Art, Craft and Design” is a new exhibition at the Museum of Arts and Design in New York. Featuring nearly 90 installations and sculptures, the show (which originated at the Mint Museum in Charlotte, North Carolina) brings together 57 cutting-edge artists and designers from all over the world.
