Color In Motion: Epic Series Exploring The Fluid Boundary Between Light And Material

Hsieh Chen Lin is a Taiwanese digital artist, gradient specialist, and award-winning visual designer. Based in New Taipei City. His highly technical and mesmerizing portfolio spans digital illustrations, commercial visual licensing, and interactive physical installations.

He is primarily known for his striking use of vivid color gradients, light, and abstract geometry. Drawing inspiration from natural phenomena—such as the aurora, oceans, and cosmic events—he creates surreal, 3D-rendered compositions that often feature glass-like refractions, neon rings, and fluid shapes. His digital art challenges viewer perception, exploring the emotional power of color in motion.

Hsieh Chen Lin translates his vibrant aesthetic into the physical world. He recently showcased “Box of Infinite Colors,” a physical lenticular artwork that combined over 10,000 monochromatic hues into a single image. He also created “Light Box NO.3,” a massive, ever-changing interactive canvas exhibited in Taipei that allowed viewers to manipulate color gradients through movement. His outstanding visual design work has earned him numerous international accolades, including multiple Red Dot Awards (Best of the Best in Brand and Corporate Design) and a Silver Award at the Taipei Design Awards.
