The Artist Blends Euro-Manga, Western Comics, And Fantasy Into A Signature Visual World

Simz is the working name of Simone Ferriero, an Italian digital illustrator and comic book artist. The visual style is a distinctive blend of euro-manga, western comics, and manga influences, built on intricate linework and richly detailed backgrounds.

The work often merges modern-day elements with magical fantasy, creating atmospheric, dark, and whimsical worlds. Recurring motifs include ghost cats and character-driven narratives, some of which fall into wholesome yuri and comic storytelling. Beyond illustration, the practice is deeply multi-platform. There is a published artbook (The Art of Simz), a Patreon with high-resolution files and timelapses, a partnered Twitch channel, and licensed merchandise through Youtooz and Diamond Art Club.
