The Finalists of The 2020 Comedy Pet Photography Awards Have Been Announced, and They’re Pretty Damn Funny!
This competition is calling on all pet owners or animal lovers to submit images of funny furry (or not so furry) friends for a chance of winning £3,000 ($3,600) and being named the 2020 Mars Petcare Comedy Pet Photographer of the Year. Brace yourself for a giggling fit because the finalists of the inaugural Comedy Pet Photography Awards have been revealed. For the first time, the founders of the Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards have launched a photography award show giving proud pet owners a chance to show off their quirky pets. Spectacular Winning Photos of The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards 2022
Here are the winning photos of the Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards 2022. The Overall Winner of this year’s competition is Jennifer Hadley, for her classic photograph of a lion cub losing its grip on a tree trunk entitled “Not so cat-like reflexes”. This shot also won the Creatures of the Land category.
Up against 5,000 incredible entries from over 85 countries around the world, Jennifer’s image fought off fierce competition in the closest voting ever! The image was captured in the Serengeti, Tanzania when Jennifer managed to capture that moment a young 3-month-old cub tries to descend from a tree, and it didn’t go so well. “It was probably his first time in a tree” Jennifer said of the image ‘and he decided to just go for it.’ And luckily for us, Jenn.

“This 3 month old cub and his sibling were in a tree. The other lionesses were in other trees and on the ground. He wanted to get down and walked all over the branches looking for the right spot and finally just went for it. It was probably his first time in a tree and his descent didn’t go so well. He was just fine though after landing on the ground. He got up and ran off with some other cubs.” Continue reading »

The funniest and most popular photography competition in the world, The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards 2020 has reached its conclusion and is proud to announce that the OVERALL WINNER of this year’s competition is Ken Jensen, a keen amateur photographer from Blackburn for his amazing photograph entitled ‘Ouch!
The Competition Winners were revealed on BBC’s ‘The One Show’ in front of millions of viewers, a first for the competition that has seen its popularity grow and grow despite only being created 7 years ago. Up against 7,000 hilarious entries from across the globe, Ken’s image of a Golden Silk Monkey, looking a little more than uncomfortable, just pipped the others photos to the top title.

Cutest Finalists Of Animal Friends Comedy Pet Photo Awards 2021
This global funny pet photo competition was created by Paul Joynson-Hicks and Tom Sullam to celebrate the positive and vital role that pets can have in our lives and to encourage and raise awareness about animal welfare in general, by supporting a different grassroots charity each year.
Thanks to its partnership with Animals Friends Insurance, this year the competition will be donating £10,000 to Animal Support Angels a very special animal welfare charity that supports pets and pet owners by providing food, shelter, warmth, veterinary support, re-homing and animal welfare care to relieve the suffering of animals.
