This street artists, who lives and works mainly in Norway, prefers to use in his drawings and graffiti elements of pop culture. Often, he ironizes or makes fun of them. Oddly enough, he calls himself Dolk Lundgren. The name translated from Norwegian means “dagger.” It is worth noting that a large number of his works have a sharp subject. Polish artist LUMP just unveiled six public art installations in Lodz, Poland which are based on advertising columns along Piotrkowska Street the longest street in Europe. The columns were transformed into giant, symbolical items – icons related to Polish People’s Republic (1952-1989). Portuguese Street Artist Wrapped Up A Giant Squirrel On The Streets Of Tallinn In Estonia
In town for the ‘JJ-Street Baltic Session: Street Art Jam 2016’, Portuguese street artist Bordalo II created a large flying squirrel which is sitting peacefully on a pine branch and having a little snack. The Lisbon-based artist chose this creature in order to bring attention to the fact that in Estonia, this squirrel is an endangered species. Meet Mason Wartman. In 2013, Wartman left his job on Wall Street to open up Rosa’s Fresh Pizza, a shop that sells slices of pizza for only $1 (tax included). One day a customer asked if he could ‘pay it forward’ and buy a slice for someone in need. This New Zealand Street Is So Steep It Makes The Houses Look Like They’re Sinking
There are plenty of picture-perfect spots in New Zealand, but none quite as Instagram-worthy as Baldwin Street in Dunedin, also known as the steepest street in the world. The street is only 350 meters long, but for every 2.86 horizontal meters, there is a rise of one meter. In other words, though the street itself is less than a quarter mile long, for every ~9 horizontal feet you walk, you’re climbing about three feet.
