Around the world (and London) in 38 mosaics…

The Emirates Air Line (also known as the Thames cable car) is a ten-minute (five minutes in rush hour) gondola lift link across the River Thames in London, England built by Transport for London with sponsorship from Emirates airways.

Since the beginning of the summer of 2014 the cable cars of the Air Line are carrying the new Emirates creative. The campaign is focused on ‘seeing different perspectives’ as Emirates is supporting TfL to deliver an innovative method of transport and a previously unseen view of London. The creative is designed to link the Emirates network to the sponsorship of the Air Line. Geometry Global (UK) asked Charis Tsevis (Greece) to create 38 mosaics for this campaign. For every destination they used several hundreds of different views of the same landmark.

Here are some examples.

Eva Green Dazzles in Red in Campari Calendar 2015 Dubbed “Mythology Mixology”

Campari has officially unveiled the full imagery for the 2015 Calendar, entitled “Mythology Mixology”. This year’s iconic calendar, which stars the beautiful French born actress Eva Green, is the 16th edition in the collection and is dedicated to celebrating Campari’s unique and intriguing history and the intrinsic stories linked to twelve of its best-loved classic cocktails. Eva Green comments: “For me, this project was about much more than simply producing a Calendar. It was about telling a series of stories in an imaginative, creative and beautiful way – and that’s exactly what we’ve achieved. This year, those stories are closer to the heart of Campari than ever before and I personally feel very honoured to have been part of that”.

MINI Japan by Alexa Meade

1
Creators of Mini Cooper continue on with their innovative way of promoting their product. First, it was the huge cardboard boxes, which looked like packaging for full sized Mini Coopers, left all over Amsterdam. Now they’ve hired a famous artist Alexa Meade, who is known for making 3-D objects look as if they are 2-D paintings. For this project, Alexa had to fly to Japan, where she turned a whole Mini Cooper into a “drawing”. Even if you know that what you’re seeing on the picture are 3-D objects, your brain refuses to accept this, making you think that Alexa is standing near a sloppy picture of a Mini Cooper

Mini Cooper Boxes in Amsterdam

1
Mini Amsterdam has launched a promotion campaign for their brand new creation Mini Cooper. The idea is that Mini Cooper is so small that it could fit in a box. Thus, as part of the promotion campaign, huge cardboard boxes were left in various popular placed of Amsterdam, making it look as if someone has bought a Mini Cooper and thrown out the cardboard box it came in. Of course it is simply a commercial; however, it clearly illustrates just how small the Mini Cooper really is. This is a perfect vehicle to handle narrow streets and lack of parking space. Truly, this vehicle could be parked just about anywhere! (Photo by JWT)
