Nikea: Exploring the Conceptual Partnership Between Cult Brands

photo_2023-04-14_16-28-08

In recent times, there has been a surge in partnerships between cult brands, as evidenced by the Heinz and Absolute Vodka collaboration which resulted in a vodka sauce. The trend has continued with Victor Martens’ imaginative collaboration between Nike and Ikea, aptly named “Nikea.”

The collaboration features Nike Dünks sneakers in Ikea’s iconic yellow and blue hues, packaged in a kraft box with the collaborative logo and colors. The design seamlessly blends the distinctive design elements of both brands, creating a unique reflection of each. With the tagline “Jüst do it yourself,” Nikea is an exciting example of the growing trend of brands collaborating to create something fresh and innovative.
