Brushstrokes of Brilliance: Unveiling the Multifaceted Poster by Andrzej Pągowski
Born in 1953, Andrzej Pągowski received his degree from Poznan, Poland’s State University of Arts. Since 1977, he has created about two thousand posters for Polish and international clients.
In addition, he paints and writes a lot of book illustrations, magazine covers, and CD booklet artwork. He has won numerous Polish and international honors, such as the Hollywood Reporter International Competition’s Best of Show Award and six First Prizes. His artwork is on display at numerous locations, including the Centre Pompidou in Paris, MoMA in New York and San Francisco. MoMA has included Pągowski’s “Wolf Smile” poster in their collection of 100 of the most significant works of art created since 1980.
