A Palermo Artist Moving Through Architecture, Blender Tutorials, VFX, and Indie Game Development With the Same Curiosity

Pietro Chiovaro is a 3D artist, art director, and indie game developer from Palermo, Italy. He started using Blender at age twelve and has spent the last decade building a practice that moves through architecture, VFX, character work, environment design, and game development. He is currently developing his own game, OnnisQuest, and has worked as a lead 3D artist on various projects.

His work carries the energy of someone who grew up loving movies and videogames and then learned to build the worlds he wanted to see. He has also written for 3D World and 3D Artist Magazine since 2015, and runs a YouTube channel where he shares full process breakdowns, tutorials, and answers to other artists’ questions. The result is a practice that feels both technically deep and openly generous — he is not just making things, but showing how they are made.
