I made this hummingbird a few weeks ago and wasn’t sure about the best way to display him until the husband suggested making him appear to drink from a flower. The Beauty Of World’s Grandest Abandoned Hotels In Photographs By Thomas Windisch
Grand banqueting halls, opulent lobbies and vast ballrooms; you could easily be forgiven for thinking this was a collection of photographs was documenting some of Europe’s grandest hotels. However, a closer look will reveal the majestic rooms to be engulfed in swathes of dust and moss; hotels that once hosted royals and high society abandoned to the elements. This is the latest result of urban exploration photography, going beyond “no entry” signs to capture images of dilapidated buildings across Europe. Photographer Thomas Windisch, from Graz in Austria, indulged his passion for photography by traveling across the continent, visiting over 100 abandoned hotels along the way. At This 3D Art Museum In Philippines You Become A Part Of The Art
Most museums don’t like to see their visitors take pictures, some going so far as to charge them for the privilege. But this is not the case at the Art In Island museum in Manila, The Philippines. Here, visitors are encouraged to interact and have fun with the art pieces, taking as many photos as they want. “Art paintings are not complete if you are not with them, if you don’t take pictures with them,” Blyth Cambaya, the museum’s secretary.
The museum is filled with unique paintings that, when photographed from a certain angle, create optical illusions that make it seem like you’re, for example, stepping out of the painting or being attacked by it.

Andy Lewis, an avid slackliner who once performed in a Super Bowl Halftime Show, envisioned the ‘Mothership Space Net Penthouse’. A spider-web-like hammock, this intricate art-piece took 50 people three days to complete. Hand-knitted from 14,000 feet of colorful cordage, the suspended net is the result of a joined effort between people who share a love for big doses of adrenaline.
