Set to be launched at Maison et Objet in Paris later this week, Odo Fioravanit’s Bern clutch, part of the Bern collection for Maison 203, was inspired by Switzerland’s capital city, Bern and it’s unique urban structure. Based in São Paulo, Brazil, designer Will Jr. has created a series of temporary tattoos that feature well-known typefaces, including Helvetica, Garamond and Futura. Inspired by old school tattoo artworks, each of these designs consist of a single letter that is surrounded by decorative elements like floral motifs—the name of the typeface is spelled out on a banner placed across the letter. The Balance table lamp, designed by Victor Castanera for manufacturer Oblure, is a lamp that creates a look of balance between dark and light, and black and white. Two white glowing orbs sit on slanted steel boards that are balanced by two small black metal balls of the perfect weight to offset the weight of the opposite parts of the lamp.
