Inflatable Trampoline Bridge Proposal by Atelier Zündel Cristea
Paris based Atelier Zündel Cristea have introduced this proposal for an inflatable bridge complete with three giant trampolines for pedestrians to enjoy. There are plenty of bridges al over in Paris, across the River Seine that carry cars, trains, cyclists, and pedestrians from the Left Bank to the Right. This time, AZC s came up with an original idea that would involve pedestrians. The atelier designed the bridge as its entry for a competition organized by Archtriumph, a website whose sole purpose is to organize competitions. It would be constructed from giant PVC rings inflated with more than 130,000 cubic feet of air. Continue reading »
Artist Jay Shells Unveils The ‘Metropolitan Etiquette Authority’
Jay Shells has finally unveiled all the signs in his latest etiquette project ad has started placing them around Manhattan. His signs not only make the cross the message clear but are also funny. In addition to the much needed “Pay Attention While Walking” sign he had a few others addressing some of the pet peeves bound to eat away at New Yorkers. His “Pull Up Your Pants” sign is by far the best. Also the “Clean Up After Your Horse,” sign is a direct message to the NYPD and their habit of not cleaning the mess their horses make. There’s also one going after the nasty habits of smokers when it comes to discarding their butts and although we hate that as much as the next person, think there’s already enough signs against them. Vladimir Franz, a university teacher, painter and composer, announced that he is planning to run for President in the Czech Republic’s 2013 elections, Prague Daily Monitor reports. Franz stands out from other candidates — he has tattoos that cover his entire face and body, as well as a variety of piercings and a dye that makes his hair blue.
