The barrage by Lake Solińskie, of 82 metres high, is one of the most important places of interest in Bieszczady Mountains. On the wall of the barrage, one of the biggest eco murals in the world, with clean (reverse) technique has been created. The concept is to create a picture with water under high pressure and to clean the sediment that was formed during many years. Street Pole Dances in Poland
Pole dancers in central Poland have been honing their skills out in the streets, throwing their legs around signposts to the surprise and delight of many a passer-by. The aim was to dispel the myth about pole dancing, a discipline often associated with strippers and nightclubs.
“The reactions of the people in the streets were very good, so we thought that this is a way to popularise the sport”, explained 27-year-old instructor Natalia Stanislawska. “Coming out in the street and practicing pole dancing poles on road signs, we want to break these stereotypes. The Pole dance is a real sport and even an art that combines acrobatics, gymnastics, and fitness. It takes a lot of strength and flexibility”.

Treasure-Laden Viking Cemetery Discovered in Poland
A mysterious burial ground dated to the late 10th and early 11th centuries A.D. has been discovered in a recent archaeological excavation in Poland. Located in the small village of Bodzia in central Poland, the site was excavated from 2007 through 2009 by archaeologists from the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
The discovery is the most recent in a series of excavations of funeral sites in Polish lands dated from the end of the 10th to the middle of the 11th century and connected to the presence of migrants, mostly from Scandinavia. Apart from the graves, the burial grounds contain rich grave goods comprising weapons, high-quality jewellery, ornaments, coins, amulets and many other finds.
