After losing his money in the Stock Market Crash of 1929, he spent time fruitlessly prospecting for gold until returning to his hometown and picking up a camera in 1938. The city of Chongqing in the south-east of the country has a population of 49 million packed into 31,000 square miles, causing urban planners to look creatively at solving space issues. 1,252 Floating Balls Form An Eye When Looking From The Right Angle
Perceptual Shift is the latest in my series of sculptural works that I refer to as expanded graphics, limited color graphics that are exploded and rendered in three dimensional space. This work is the first of its kind, it’s a 3D halftone. Black and white halftone images are traditionally produced using black circles on a white surface. ‘Staying Civil Right Down the Line’ Campaign
The RATP Group is the world’s fifth largest public transport company operating all modes of collective mobility – bus, metro, trains and trams. With over 10 million passengers riding the RATP public transport networks daily, incivilities are a major source of concern for the company. 83% of the residents of the Greater Paris region feel that it is the RATP’s role to encourage passengers to behave properly, and 90% are in favour of a communications campaign on passenger behaviour being conducted in all of RATP’s public transport networks.
With today’s new communications campaign “Staying civil right down the line”, RATP is pursuing its commitment to speak out against incivilities in public transport. Continue reading »
