World’s First 3D Printed Car
The world’s first 3D printed car – the Stratti – was built in just 45 hours at the International Manufacturing Technology Show which took place between September 8 – 13, 2014. The Strati, which is Italian for layers, has a chassis body made of one solid piece and has a top speed of 40mph. The tyres, seats, wheels, battery, wiring, suspension, electric motor and window shield of the revolutionary vehicle were made using conventional methods.

The world’s most expensive burger, dubbed the “Glamburger”, is stuffed with a burger patty made from 220 grams of Kobe Wagyu beef minced with 60 grams of New Zealand venison and seasoned with smoked Himalayan salt.

Y40 Deep Joy – the World’s Deepest Pool
Y-40 is projected by Architect Emanuele Boaretto and supported by the “Boaretto Group Hotel and Resort”. The name Y-40 is inspired by mathematical symbols. “Y” is the ordinate axis of the Cartesian system and “–40” means the world’s record depth or our pool- that is 40 meters underground. Y-40 is filled with thermal spa water. 4300 cubic meters maintained at a temperature of 32-34°C. The pool is 40 meters deep with a surface area measuring 21x18m. It has various intermediate depths and caves for technical scuba diving.

Guinness World Records announced that Jiff has set world records for the fastest running on two back legs and on two front legs. World’s First “Liliger” Born in US

A private zoo in Oklahoma celebrated the birth of what they call the world’s first male liliger cub. A liliger is the offspring of a male lion and a ligress. The adorable cub and his little sister make up American second litter of the rare hybrid animal. Their parents are Simba, the lion, and Akara, female liger gave birth to 3.5 pound, 11.25 inch long cubs on May 31st at the GW Interactive Zoo in Wynnewood, Oklahoma. Zoo president Joe Schreibvogel and his team of researchers say they are studying the DNA and genetics of the animals to educate the public about crossbred animals. Continue reading »
Alpacas Attract Beijingers to World Cup
Two alpacas, a kind of animal little known and mysterious to many Chinese, appeared in Sanlitun, Beijing, on Tuesday for a World Cup-related business promotion. Their cute look attracted large crowds. Brazil, where the 2014 Cup is hosted, is also an important habitat for alpacas. The alpacas will stay in the city while the World Cup games are being played. World’s Largest, Longest 3D Street Painting Debuts in Nanjing

The 365-meter long street painting titled “Rhythms of Youth” was presented to the public for the first time on a lane on the campus of the Nanjing branch of the Communication University of China(CUCN) on Wednesday. The gigantic 3D street painting, or anamorphic painting, covering an area of more than 2,600 square meters, has set two new Guinness World Records as the world’s largest and longest street painting. Its creators led by famous Chinese artist Yang Yongchun were awarded the certificate by the Guinness World Records, the global authority on record-breaking, on Tuesday at a ceremony held in the university.
