Meet James Rulison, The Official Superhero Photographer

According to James: “What is a cosplayer? Well cosplayer is a person who dresses in the attire of their favorite character. These characters can be comic book, movie, video game, or animation related. Google Definition of Cosplay: the practice of dressing up as a character from a movie, book, or video game, especially one from the Japanese genres of manga and anime.

I have had a passion for photography for as long as I can remember. I have shot with everything from oatmeal boxes on film to todays latest digital photographic equipment. I work as professionally as possible, learning as much as I can from my clients to produce the photos they want. I specialize in cosplay photography, going to conventions and making you look as close as possible to the characters you are trying to represent.”
