Self-taught artist and designer Kate Marchenko uses a unique, personalized art technique of embroidery on tulle fabrics. Based in Moscow, Kate takes on both elaborate patterns and portraits in 3D form.
She uses predominantly brightly coloured threads to create intricate embroidered images of a range of subject matter, including human portraits, animals and anatomical diagrams. Kate’s themes are inspired by high class fashion and haute couture
