LOEWE’s “Pixel” Capsule Collection Brings 8-Bit Dreams to Life for Spring/Summer 2023
LOEWE, under the creative direction of Jonathan Anderson, recently showcased its Spring/Summer 2023 womenswear collection, which featured a unique 8-bit aesthetic. Now, the brand has released its “Pixel” capsule collection, which reimagines LOEWE’s iconic pieces in a pixelated style.

The collection’s lookbook, shot by Jules Moskovtchenko, features LOEWE’s staples, such as the Puzzle Edge bag, which is decorated with pixelated squares on its geometric lines, giving a hint of what’s to come in the rest of the collection. The runway pieces, including the tech-knit hoodie, tech-knit top, Duchesse silk satin trousers, and the pixellated LOEWE Anagram Logo T-shirt, all blur the line between the digital and physical worlds, either through cut-out shapes or prints.
In addition, classic denim pieces, such as baggy jeans, a trucker jacket, and a denim skirt, are updated with dark and light square detailing, adding the 8-bit touch. All pieces in the collection will be packaged in special pixelated bags and boxes to continue the collection’s theme.
The collection’s ethos is centered around the idea of “Blown-up pixels [that] create a real-world glitch.” The collection is available now on LOEWE’s website and in boutiques for those who want to experience a unique and nostalgic take on fashion.
