Photographer of the Year: Spiralkampagnen by Juliette Pavy
The Sony World Photography Awards, a top global photography contest, has once again wowed audiences with its spectacular images.
This year’s competition saw photographers worldwide display their creativity and distinct views, presenting a tough yet thrilling challenge for the judges. Highlights include the breathtaking winners from the 2024 awards.
Juliette Pavy earned the Photographer of the Year title with her series “Spiralkampagnen: Forced Contraception and Unintended Sterilisation of Greenlandic Women.” In addition to winning a $25,000 cash prize, Pavy received Sony digital imaging gear and global online exposure. Her work will also be featured in a solo exhibition at Somerset House during next year’s event.
