Sebastian Krüger Creates Large‑format Grotesquely Distorted Celebrity Portraits
Sebastian Krüger is a German painter famous for large, hyper‑real yet grotesquely distorted portraits of rock stars and pop‑culture icons, especially The Rolling Stones. His work sits between fine art and caricature: highly detailed acrylic “personality portraits” that exaggerate features while amplifying character, attitude, and theatrical presence.
