A Character Designer Who Turns Animation Work, Personal Films, and Teaching Into One Ongoing Creative Life
Jackie Droujko is a Vancouver-based character designer, filmmaker, and educator working in animation. She studied at Sheridan Animation and has designed for projects at Netflix, Disney TVA, DreamWorks, Nickelodeon, Warner Bros and other studios, while also directing her own short films and building a large, self-driven online practice.
Her work sits at the intersection of character-driven storytelling and creative teaching. Jackie has created multiple short films, including Bang! Bang!, Mismatched and the ongoing Space Date series, often handling much of the pipeline herself—from storyboarding to animation and compositing. Parallel to studio work, she runs workshops, mentorships, retreats and online courses, sharing process and portfolio advice with a global audience of artists who follow her for clear, honest, and non-gatekept guidance on character design and filmmaking.
