Maciej Rebisz Designs Spaceships and Orbital Scenes That Feel Rooted in Real Engineering and Future Possibility

Maciej Rebisz is a senior concept artist and designer working primarily with space, spacecraft, and near-future science fiction imagery. He is currently a senior concept artist at Blank Game Studios and previously worked on projects for CD PROJEKT RED, including Cyberpunk and The Witcher, as well as studios like Platige Image.

His practice revolves around hard sci-fi visual worlds: spacecraft design, orbital infrastructure, atmospheric space scenes, and concept work that often sits close to aerospace visualization. Some of his images are photographs of carefully built physical spacecraft models rather than purely digital paintings, which adds a tactile, model-making dimension to his work. He also creates custom illustrations for science fiction novels such as Daniel Suarez’s Critical Mass, aligning his visual language with stories about near-future asteroid mining and realistic space industry.
