This Artist Creates A Distinctive Colorful Illustrations and Portraits

Anna Kostiv is a digital illustrator with a background in graphic design who has worked professionally in illustration for several years. She studied graphic design at the Ukrainian Academy of Printing Arts and has said that drawing has been part of her life for as long as she can remember.

Color sits at the center of her practice. She has described color as the main driving force behind why she draws at all, while portraits have become another major direction in her artistic development. She works mainly on iPad in Procreate and has spoken openly about studying facial construction and skin color to refine her portrait style.

Her commercial experience also includes drawing Telegram stickers as part of an official artists team, which adds a professional applied-design layer to her more personal illustration work.
