This Artist Is Redefining Retro Aesthetics By Blending Crisp Geometry With The Timeless Charm Of Classic American Illustration
Erikas Chesonis is a designer and illustrator based in Austin, Texas, specializing in vibrant, meticulously crafted vector compositions.
His work seamlessly bridges the gap between modern graphic design and nostalgic, mid-century poster aesthetics, utilizing bold linework and rich, saturated color palettes. A significant portion of his portfolio is playfully dedicated to stylized avian motifs, spanning from intricately designed playing card decks to illustrations that mimic the tactile charm of vintage matchboxes. He builds compelling visual narratives centered around symmetry, striking typography, and satisfying geometric precision.
