The Jeep Wrangler Based G. Patton Tomahawk 6×6 Is What Nightmares Are Made Of
This is the G. Patton Tomahawk, and it looks like a Jeep Wrangler subjected to repeated jabs of testosterone injections. So much so, its grew an extra pair of wheels, while its skin became as hard as rock. Of course, there should be no questions asked regarding its inspiration, which is unequivocally the monstrous Mercedes-AMG G 63 6×6. Continue reading »
What If World Political Leaders Were Cars?
Many politicians are often better known for the image they present rather than the policies they support. If a leader doesn’t look sharp, perform well and make all the right noises, they have very little chance of being elected. The same could also be said of cars – they have to look the part, feel the part and sound the part before any customers will take them seriously.
Question is, what cars best represent today’s most prominent political leaders?
Vladimir Putin – Lada Niva

Believe it or not, the Lada Niva off-roader is still on sale despite being based on a decades-old design, being woefully unequipped for modern life and approaching situations with the sophistication of a lump of granite. Continue reading »

Spencer Elden The Famous Nirvana Baby Recreates The Album Cover 25 Years Later
The legendary Nirvana album from 90’s Nevermind has a legendary cover, too. I think it’s impossible that some among you never seen it before, and it looks like this: a newborn in a swimming pool reaching for a dollar bill on a string. The message is powerful, for sure, and clear, and that’s one of the reasons this album cover is rated as third most iconic album cover ever by the readers of the Rolling Stone magazine. Photographer Takes Delightful Fat Cat Pictures To Show Chubby Cats Are Adorable
What you’re about to see in the gallery below sure is cute, but please try to resist and not do it to your pet cat. Chubby cats are adorable, just think of Garfield, but I’m sure that it’s not the healthier condition real cat can be in. Note that many of these cats on the fat cat pictures series are already on diets. However, the topic of this article is cuteness and not health, so we’ll focus on that. Anyway, few extra pounds can happen to anyone, right? Continue reading »

Fake Swiss Chalets That Were Actually A Secret Military Weapon
Christian Schwager first began his project on “Fake Chalets” back in 2004 when people began noticing these false homes. Upon further investigation, it turned out that these quaint little structures were actually some of Switzerland’s best kept military secrets. These fake chalets were fully militarized bunkers. It’s estimated that over 250 were built back in WWII and some are still being discovered to this day. Though the buildings look false when you walk up right next to them, they’re tricky enough to deceive even the locals from a distance. Each chalet is a little more narrow that it should be. The windows, woodgrain, and even the sun’s reflection were painted on. The rule here was that the chalet should be able to deceive the eye from a minimum of 20 meters away. So far, Schwager’s series of photos has captured a little over 100 of these disguised bunkers. Continue reading »

People and Space Runnner-up: Man on the Moon

A good friend posed on top of the mountain. The hardest part was getting to the location and discovering that he had forgotten the tripod. Incredibly Unique Shadow Doodles By Vincent Bal
Earlier this year, Belgian film-maker and artist Vincent Bal stumbled upon an uncanny resemblance to an elephant in the shadow of his tea cup. This gave him the idea for Shadowology, a series of doodles that interact with the shadows of simple, everyday objects: a banknote, some ice cubes and a flower, for example, can turn into a church, a woman and a hippy. Rescue ‘Fortress’ In Tanzania Protects Albinos From Human Hunters
The rescue centres in Tanzania protect albino people from the vicious hunters who sell their body parts to witch doctors. Photojournalist Ana Palacios, 43, visited the centre in Tanzania three times between 2012 and 2016 to find out more about the plight of albino people. Persecution of albinism is rooted in the belief that the body parts can transmit magical powers, however, they are also ostracised by those who believe that they are cursed and bring bad luck. The Tanzanian government has been forced to set up special centres to protect people with albinism from harm.

The women who flee to the centre with their albino children also act as guardians for the other albino children who have been abandoned at the centre in Kabanga Refuge Centre, Tanzania, 2012. (Photo by Ana Palacios/Barcroft Images) Continue reading »
This Artist Creates Impressive Paintings By Using His Boxing Gloves

When he creates art work, Omar Hassan doesn’t get out paint brushes. He gets out his boxing gloves. Hassan, a 29-year-old artist and boxer, has combined his two passions, with the goal to bring the disciplines closer. Hassan, born in Milan to an Italian mother and Egyptian father, creates the works by dipping his glove in paint, and punching the canvas stretched over cardboard to keep it from breaking. He calls the series “Breaking Through Milano.” His paintings sell from 8,000 to 40,000 euros, which he calls “a great satisfaction, but not the goal”. Continue reading »
