The French shoe designer has announced that he’s designing the formal outfits for Cuban athletes in Rio 2016 Olympics. The news is a bit unexpected for us. But for Louboutin, it’s been a long time coming, as it was born from a friendship. It began when Louboutin traveled to Cuba to meet his good friend Henri Tai. A former professional handball athlete, Tai had just started SportyHenri.com, an E-concept store for men that is dedicated to sports and style. That visit proved fruitful; it inspired Louboutin and Tai to team up to design the outfits that will be worn by Cuban Olympians during formal occasions and the closing ceremony. Continue reading »

Alexis Stephens and Christian Parsons are an ordinary couple who built an extraordinary house for themselves, which is just 130 square feet (12 square meters) big and has wheels. The house has a rustic cabin, a kitchen, two lofts, a bathroom and a shower, and most materials in it are recycled. They built this house in an attempt to simplify their surroundings. Firstly, you can see how the size of the US drastically changes as you move it north or south.
Some countries are significantly larger than they should be thanks to the Mercator projection, while others – anything near the equator – are definitely getting a bum deal. The US falls somewhere in the middle. On a standard map it’s dwarfed by Canada, but here you can see that moving it to where Canada is located makes it seem even more prominent than it already is. The True Size Map was created—a interactive website that allows you to drag countries and continents around the Mercator projection and discover just how big they are. You can do this for any country by simply typing its name into the map, allowing for a seemingly endless amount of comparisons. Construction Worker Hides Waldo On Site Everyday For Kids In Hospital Next Door To Find
A thoughtful construction worker named Jason Haney thought it would be nice to do something to cheer up the children in the hospital next door. His idea was absolutely brilliant. Haney, with the help of his daughter, created an 8-foot-tall cut out of Where’s Waldo and hides it on the site every day for the kids in the Memorial Children’s Hospital in South Bend, Indiana to spot. Once Haney is notified that the kids found Waldo, the large cut-out is moved to a different spot, and the kids look for it again.
