"Selfie": Photographer Flora Borsi Photoshops Herself Among A Famous Historical Figures

Acording to Flora Borsi (previously): “After the first official picture of a black hole was released last week, I decided to look into the Theory of relativity and I’ve been wondering how cool it was, if I could travel faster than the speed of light, ergo I could travel back in time. While I’ve been making a “selfie” with Albert Einstein (photoshopping myself into a picture of him) I decided to celebrate this amazing discovery with a series of pictures, where I travel back in time. This Creepy Fiberglass ‘Selfie Arm’ Adds The Illusion Of A Friend To A Self-Portrait Photo

By changing the context of a work, where it is seen or used, the meaning can be changed. What once was art becomes design and likewise, what was design transforms into art. The differences between the two once separate disciplines are in a constant state of flux, at times entirely indistinguishable. Residing somewhere in the middle, are artists Aric Snee and Justin Crowe, where they have honed their talents focusing on designs and works that challenge the dynamic of humans and technology. The device could, say, be used for FaceTime conversations or taking photos, much like a Selfie Stick kitted with an iPhone. Continue reading »

This Guy Just Won The Selfie Stick Game Once And For All

Let’s be real. It’s humanly impossible to use a selfie stick without sticking out like a sore thumb. It’s just not a discreet accessory. The Fifty Fifty Selfie Barber Shop

1

Adrian Alarcon is a photographer from São Paulo. He seems to be a fan of two things that just don’t want to go out of fashion right now: selfies and beards. Adrian combines both of them in his Fifty Fifty Selfie Barber Shop project. He spent four months growing himself a rather splendid beard and then shaved half of it off, straight down the middle. Might look kind of weird, but he quickly covered the shaved half with all sorts of stuff he found lying around so no one would notice. Continue reading »

These are the chimp-ly marvellous images captured by a cheeky monkey after turning the tables on a photographer who left his camera unmanned.
