Photographer Continues To Dress Up Rescued Dogs To Draw Attention To Their Stories
The dapper dogs in clothes are back with a second series, and they’re feeling festive. Earlier this year we were introduced to UCAPS’ well dressed canines available for adoption. Photographer Tammy Swarek came up with the idea of dressing up rescue dogs to draw attention to their stories and help potential owners personally connect with them. Tammy, from Arkansas, drew her inspiration from Facebook after spotting another portrait project for sheltered animals. So she contacted her local dog shelter, the Union County Animal Protection Society (UCAPS) and has worked closely with shelter manager Tanja Jackson ever since. Continue reading »

Incredible Photo Series Shows Huge Dogs Playing With Their Tiny Toddler Pals

A photographer is launching a new book featuring 100 touching images showing the loving bond between young children and their enormous dogs. The series of pictures shows breeds such as Great Danes and Newfoundlands towering over toddlers – highlighting their mutual love for each other. Children no taller than 2ft are seen high-fiving their family pets, running alongside them and even riding their beloved dogs as if they were a horse. Issei Suma is known for his intriguing buildings, but this structure shaped like 5 tents are really eye catching, due to the harmonious flow and the design that perfectly combined minimalism with an ecological style. The building features a spiral-shaped indoor pool and a common kitchen for both ladies. This 100 square m complex is called “Jikka” and is located in the Japanese mountains Shizuoka Prefecture.
