The day after Carrie Fisher’s death daughter’s death, Debbie Reynolds suffered a suspected stroke and emergency services were called to her son Todd’s home. He told the press: “She said, ‘I want to be with Carrie’. And then she was gone.”

Actress Debbie Reynolds (born Mary Frances “Debbie” Reynolds; April 1, 1932 – December 28, 2016) married singer Eddie Fisher (August 10, 1928 – September 22, 2010) in 1955. The couple shared two children: Carrie Fisher (October 21, 1956 – December 27, 2016) and Todd Fisher (born February 24, 1958). They divorced in 1959.
