Unbelievable Macro Shots Taken Inside Instruments By The Romanian Artist Adrian Borda
Adrian Borda is an artist and photographer from Reghin, Romania. Inspired by an old print campaign for the Berlin Philharmonic, Borda managed to take a fascinating series of photos from the insides of old instruments like a cello and contrabass. To achieve these shots, Borda fit a Sony NEX-6 camera equipped with a Samyang 8mm fisheye lens inside the instrument and then used a smart remote so he could preview the workflow on his phone.
The way the light illuminates the interiors make for some fascinating captures and you can see more from the series along with Borda’s surrealist paintings at the links below!
“Done with a full frame mirrorless, using the smartphone as a wireless remote, a very useful tool to preview the images. I was on a trip, I didn’t had my flashes, I used the light bulb from the ceiling, and dragging the cello all around the room to change the angle of the light,” he said.
