Hellboy, Evangelion, and Eight-Legged Mickey Mouse Mutant: Comic Art by James Harren

To say that James Harren is a cool drawer is to say nothing. Harren has been illustrating comics for a long time, having worked on such DC and Marvel projects as B.P.R.D. Hell on Earth, X-Men: To Serve And Protect, Conan and many other equally legendary titles from other publishers.

His style is as measured as saber strokes with pen work and deep shadows in the spirit of Mike Mignola. Every picture of Harren is sharp and seemingly random in many ways, but in fact behind this seeming randomness is painstaking work and experience.
