Madness as Art: Superb Comic Art by Lee Bermejo
Lee Bermejo is a comic book artist who has worked for Marvel, DC Comics, Top Cow, Wizard Entertainment, and many other publishers.
He also drew illustrations for Men’s Health, but most people know him specifically as a comic book artist. Bermejo became famous for his work with writer Brian Azzarello, with whom he created several psychedelic and extremely dark series about Batman and the Joker (like “Batman: Damned”).
His art is a chambery, crushing composition, built with hard, choppy lines and shadows so dark you can fall in them.
