Artist Kjell Daniel Francisco Drags Viewers To The Edge Of The Abyss With His Unconscious Encounter Series

Kjell Daniel Francisco is a dark‑surreal painter and digital artist whose work dives into desolate atmospheres, faceless figures and abyssal architectures.

Working in both oil (series like Unconscious Encounter on board and linen) and digital painting (series like Insouled Aether), he builds bleak, mist‑soaked spaces where robed silhouettes, floating monoliths, bones and strange companions explore themes of death, isolation and the unknown. His images have been featured in group shows such as WOW x WOW’s “Moments of Illumination” and in commissions for projects like the sci‑fi horror RPG Mothership, while his DeviantArt and Instagram audiences follow each new numbered vision deeper into the void.
