Nick Marinkovich is a Canadian illustrator, comic artist and “reclusive dandy” best known as the co‑creator and artist of the historical series Dead Romans (Image Comics) and the medieval horror comic The Pale Knight (Mad Cave Studios).
Working in ink, watercolour and digital, he combines loose, expressive mark‑making with gritty realism, using splatters, dry‑brush textures and moody lighting to portray Roman legions, plague‑era England, monsters and reimagined classics like Dracula and Frankenstein.
