Stunning Experimentsl Typography And Concept Art By Award-Winning Designer Junfeng Zhang

Junfeng Zhang, the artist behind the design studio 6JUNFENG LAB, is a highly acclaimed interdisciplinary designer and artist based in Macau. He holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Visual Communication from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Fine Arts (DFA) at the University of Macau.

Zhang’s work blurs the lines between digital culture and organic life, heavily utilizing experimental typography, 3D rendering, and graphic illustration. One of his most popular ongoing projects is the Cyber Farm series (Cyber Farm’s Electronic Vegetable and Fruit Calendar). In this conceptual project, he designs surreal, digital “vegetables”—such as “self-editing green onions” and “Potato Princesses”—as visual metaphors for modern data consumption, exhibiting them as posters and typographic artworks. His approach frequently mixes futuristic cyberpunk aesthetics with everyday objects, exploring how visual language functions in the digital age.
