Chinese Artist Creates Minimal Drawings That Capture Animal Personality Perfectly

ShouXin 手訫 is a Chinese contemporary artist known for minimalist, highly expressive drawings of animals, especially cats. His Instagram bio says he shares his works there, and related profiles describe him as an artist focused on original art, prints, and artbooks.

His style is all about very few lines, but a lot of personality. Critics and reposts consistently highlight how he captures motion, mood, and individuality with just a handful of strokes. That gives the drawings a simple look on the surface, but a surprisingly lively and emotional feel underneath.
