Baby Face in Famous Paintings
When her daughter was born, Lucas de Ouro, visual artist based in Brazil, didn’t want to make the traditional birth pictures. To innovate, the father recreated some scenes from famous paintings as “The Mona Lisa”, “Girl with a Pearl Earring” by Vermeer, and the painting “Self-portrait dedicated to Dr. Eloesser” by Frida Kahlo. Postcards are always of great historical and social interest. In 1903 Kodak introduced the No. 3A Folding Pocket Kodak. The camera, designed for postcard-size film, allowed the general public to take photographs and have them printed on postcard backs, usually in the same dimensions as standard vintage postcards.
