Incredible Photo Series Shows Huge Dogs Playing With Their Tiny Toddler Pals

A photographer is launching a new book featuring 100 touching images showing the loving bond between young children and their enormous dogs. The series of pictures shows breeds such as Great Danes and Newfoundlands towering over toddlers – highlighting their mutual love for each other. Children no taller than 2ft are seen high-fiving their family pets, running alongside them and even riding their beloved dogs as if they were a horse. The extraordinary collection will feature in a book called ‘Little Kids and Their Big Dogs’ – which is all down to the work of photographer Andy Seliverstoff. Continue reading »

Anonymouse Are Opening Tiny Shops For Mice In Sweden
Anonymouse was fed up with the lack of shops for rodents, so they decided to open a couple of them at once. The 70×30 cm (about 25×12 inch) stores are located in Malmö, Sweden and they have wide menus that mice can choose their meals from. One of them is selling nuts and the other offers cheese. Besides the well-crafted interiors, there are posters about upcoming mice concerts and other events. The amount of detail that went into creating this street art installation is huge! Minimalist Christmas Cards Cleverly Use Type To Create Colorful Festive Images
A couple of years ago, Milan-based graphic designer Luca Milani created a Christmas Edition of his graphic project ‘FONTLOVE’, where he uses type to create minimalist festive images. In addition to posters, Milani has also used these graphics on greeting cards—on the back of the cards, you would find the name of the typeface and all the characters that have been used. Tippi, aged 6 busy with two meerkats in Namibia, 1996. Incredible pictures of the real life Mowgli, a girl who spent the first ten years of her life growing up in the African bush, have been released for the first time. The magical images chronicle the life of Tippi Benjamine Okanti Degré, who was brought up with wild animals, just like Rudyard Kipling’s hero did in The Jungle Book. The images – in the relaunched book – “Tippi: My Book of Africa” – show the young girl making friends with an elephant, who she calls her brother, and a leopard, her best friend. Living with her French parents, wildlife photographers Sylvie Robert and Alain Degré, the three of them travelled extensively through Africa on a unique and incredible trip. Continue reading »

National Geographic Nature Photographer Of The Year 2016 Winners
The annual National Geographic travel photographer of the year contest attracted 10,000 entries worldwide this year. Selected from thousands of entries, an underwater photo of sardine predation off the Wild Coast of South Africa was selected as the winning image for the 2016 National Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year contest. During the sardine migration along the Wild Coast of South Africa, millions of sardines are preyed upon by marine predators such as dolphins, marine birds, sharks, whales, penguins, sailfishes, and sea lions. The hunt begins with common dolphins that have developed special hunting techniques to create and drive bait balls to the surface. In recent years, probably due to overfishing and climate change, the annual sardine run has become more and more unpredictable.
