The Walking Portfolio

My name is Victoria Kalogerou and I’m a junior copywriter.
I’m currently looking for a job and to promote myself I created the Walking Portfolio, a combination of my love for walking and for advertising. A portfolio that allows people to interact with it!

Lesquatrestacions

‘Lesquatrestacions’ – otherwise ‘The Four Seasons’ – refers to the musical composition of the composer, Antonio Vivaldi. It is essentially a graphic interpretation of the four violin concertos that make this baroque masterpiece. To create ‘Lesquatrestacions’, we have designed a prototype – ‘SisTeMu’ – a graphic notation system which looks at interpreting musical texture.

A Crime-Fighting Armored Glove

unnamed

Inventor and Founder, Dave Brown, was originally inspired to develop The BodyGuard 9XI out of concern about wild animal attacks around his Southern California home. An avid hiker, David was distressed when he learned that two female mountain bikers had been mauled by a cougar on one of his favorite trails. It became apparent later that night that the same mountain lion that attacked the women had earlier killed 36 year-old mountain biker, Mark Reynolds. To protect himself against such animal attacks, Brown began inventing The BodyGuard.

It is equipped with a video camera and a stun gun to keep criminals at bay. For police and corrections officers, preventing and defusing confrontations can save lives, and that’s the premise behind the BodyGuard.

Firefox Markup

http://vimeo.com/24856024

Recently Mozilla Firefox launched Mark Up, an interactive online project that allows visitors to sign their name in support of the open Web. Anyone can contribute a mark, which are connected and visualized in an interactive HTML 5 experience. The project, done in collaboration with Evan Roth, creator of Graffiti Markup Language (GML), aligns with Mozilla’s belief that the Web is a shared public resource.

How it works:
– mark Up captures contributors’ marks using GML and mouse input, and then connects each individual mark end-to-end in a single line, beautifully rendered in 3D space. Visitors are able to browse, pan, zoom, rotate and sort animated marks.
– the 3D visualization is open-source and GML data will be made available for public use.

CIA ATHLETICA. Spend more time!

Cia Athletica ends with apology.

When spending time taking care of health and well being, it is common to hear ” I don’t have time for that, ” I can’t do that, “it’s impossible to get there”. Thinking on how to demystify these excuses and prove that there is no need to give away personal achievements in order to get in shape, DDB Brasil created a humorous campaign for Cia Athletica. The ads suggest that people will invest a little time on themselves and make a relation between the shape of people that spend time with hobbies and mannerisms with those who dedicate themselves to their own well being. The campaign has three parts, titled “Origami”, “Letters” and “Garden”. Continue reading »
