Visiting Japan has been a dream of mine since I was a child and I finally managed to fulfill it recently. I’ve spent about two weeks in Tokyo, but I wish it had been more than that. I visited the main districts and took pictures there. I photographed mainly at night when all the lights come on in the city. Ilya Shtutsa (b. 1972) is a street and documentary photographer based in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. Founding member of Observecollective. Winner of Urban Picnic Street photography award 2014, shortlisted in many other competitions. Worked for Russian newspapers, such as Molodoy Dalnevostochnik in Khabarovsk and Nevskoe Vremya in Saint-Petersburg. Studied photography in Saint-Petersburg school Tsekh under guidance of Sergey Maximishin.
