Beautiful Photos from Norway’s Fjords Will Unwind Your Mind

Wherever you are in the world, looking at the ocean, coastline or nearby lake can often have a remarkably calming influence.
Nærøyfjord early morning
So you can imagine how zen and relaxed Tomasz Furmanek must have been as he silently floated around the gorgeous fjord of Norway in his kayak. His inspiration stems from his desire to encourage people to visit some of these remote locations and discover the joy of kayaking for themselves.

“The reflections and symmetry in the photos show the balance and calmness of experiencing nature from a kayak. I believe that it is important for our mental and spiritual development to connect to nature, especially in todays technological world.”, he admits.
Oldenvatnet Norway
Rather than using an expensive and heavy DSLR, Furmanek predominately uses his trusty GoPro or compact Sony camera to capture his gorgeous landscapes from the triangle of the bow. You can see the full range of his inspirational journey through his official site, Instagram, Facebook and 500px but in the meantime here’s a few of our personal favourites from his travels.
