The Vivid Surrealism Of Quentin Deronzier

French artist/creative director Quentin Deronzier creates a dazzling array of vibrant images and short films with a surreal twist to them in this enigmatic collection of works. A running theme of solitary figures stands in stark contrast to his intrepid use of vivid colors, vast landscapes and curious sources of light.

It’s as if we are seeing a new world for the first time, through the subject’s eyes – a phenomenon where the inherent loneliness of these pieces is supplanted by sheer innocence, wonder and introspection. The reflections of color and light mimic the recursive nature of consciousness itself – as if we are witnesses to new forms of perception rising from the murky waters of the unknown.
