This Artist Illustrated Her Everyday Problems With Relatable Comics

Prudence is a 27-year-old Belgian illustrator and the creator of the “Planet Prudence” comic series. In her comics, the artist illustrates all of the funny and awkward moments she experiences every day that we’re pretty sure most people will be able to relate to.

The artist says she started creating the illustrations as a comic diary but soon after many people started relating to her work and now she has a huge and awesome community, with over 659k followers on Instagram. “I advocate body positivity and mental health in my work. I strive to be true to myself as a human being by knowing my value and I encourage people to do this as well,” says Prudence.

Creating the comics also helped the artist grow – she says she learned to speak up more both in her personal life and her work.

“I am happy to be this Prudence that you all know now, knowing you,” says the artist. “And I’m proud and so grateful of all of you guys out there who also feel more valued, cared for and less alone.”
