Artist Turns Ordinary Everyday Objects Into Star Wars Characters

According to Javier Pérez: “Hi everyone! I’m cintascotch—a graphic designer, audiovisual producer, and a partner of the digital agency “Cafeína” (Guayaquil-Ecuador).

I have won several awards for posters, illustrations, and animation. I became known worldwide for my project “Instagram Experiments” where I combine illustrations with real objects. I want people to be able to take a break from the saturation of photos in general. My clients include Santillana, Volkswagen, Cosmopolitan, 7UP, Samsung, National Geographic, Money Magazine, and Oprah Magazine.

My work is very simple and minimal. I’m a big fan of Star Wars, so I created some artworks in my style. I hope you like it!”
