This Artist Creates Impressive Surreal Sculptures

South Africa-based artist Daniel Popper (previously featured here and here) creates impressive larger-than-life surreal sculptures depicting humanlike beings. Daniel is a multidisciplinary artist who has worked globally, created large scale figurative sculptures, that connects to both what makes us human, and our greater connection to the natural world around us.

He works with multiple materials, and is constantly experimenting and expanding in his approach to putting his sculptural work together, from wood, to fibre glass and more recently working with FGRC (Fibre Glass Reinforced Cement). Daniel creates his work in both public and private spaces.
