Artist Makes Unique Collage Paintings By Using Only Playing Cards And Black Paint
The artist Elmo Hood (previously) has penned down his artistic process, detailing how he produces his paintings by incorporating playing cards.
In his technique, he consciously limits himself to utilizing cards exclusively to derive the required color palette for each composition. For the purposes of shading and outlining, he adheres solely to black paint. Although this approach demands a considerable amount of time, Hood believes that the resulting outcome boasts an exceptional and textured quality that sets it apart.
