Hill Pictures by Polly Garnett
Experience Belfast as it transforms into a living gallery for the UK and Ireland’s most ambitious photography festival. With over 30 powerful exhibitions woven into the fabric of the city, this is art on a grand scale.
The 2025 festival dives deep into our planet’s delicate pulse. Through the theme ‘Biosphere,’ photographers from across the globe and our own shores explore the stunning beauty and profound fragility of the natural world. Five landmark commissions focus specifically on Northern Ireland’s unique heritage. One must-see is Hill Pictures—a powerful visual journey into the iconic Belfast Hills and the stories of its people. It’s more than a viewing experience; it’s an open invitation to collaborate and become part of the picture.
