“Peace is Possible”: Amazing Surreal Pen Drawings and Paintings of Miles Johnston

Miles Johnston is a British artist renowned for his surreal graphite drawings and oil paintings that often depict transformations and distortions of the human form.

He was born in 1993 in the UK, studied at the Swedish Academy of Realist Art, and now teaches and works in Sweden, exhibiting internationally and online to a large audience. His art explores inner experiences and perceptions, fusing technical realism with mind-bending, emotional imagery described as dreamy, psychedelic, and evocative. Johnston’s works are inspired by psychological states and aim to evoke strong connections and introspection in viewers.
