Spectacular Winning Images from The Society of Photographers’ Photographer of the Year 2025

Photographer of the Year 2025 – 1st Place by Therese Asplund

Photography reached new heights in 2025, with the Society of Photographers unveiling an extraordinary lineup of Photographer of the Year winners.

Nearly 6,000 submissions across 28 categories showcased creators with remarkable storytelling ability, technical mastery, and emotional depth. Three standout Photos of the Year rose above the rest, earning praise for their exceptional execution and narrative power. The Society’s Monthly Image Competition and the renowned 20×16″ Print Competition also saw tremendous participation, reinforcing their status as major events in the photography world. Every category winner came from a pool of Gold Award–level work, all vetted by a highly skilled judging panel whose dedication continues to elevate the competition’s prestige.
