Freezing Temperatures Transform Lighthouse Into Icy Giant
A winter chill has descended upon Lake Michigan, giving the St. Joseph lighthouse an otherworldly appearance, as ice clings to every inch of its surface. Photographer Joshua Nowicki and the Great Lakes Drone Company each braved the weather to get some incredible footage of the icy lighthouse. Photographer Continues To Dress Up Rescued Dogs To Draw Attention To Their Stories
The dapper dogs in clothes are back with a second series, and they’re feeling festive. Earlier this year we were introduced to UCAPS’ well dressed canines available for adoption. Photographer Tammy Swarek came up with the idea of dressing up rescue dogs to draw attention to their stories and help potential owners personally connect with them. Tammy, from Arkansas, drew her inspiration from Facebook after spotting another portrait project for sheltered animals. So she contacted her local dog shelter, the Union County Animal Protection Society (UCAPS) and has worked closely with shelter manager Tanja Jackson ever since. Continue reading »

Using body paint and a woodland like location, Gesine appears to have created a model to look just like a red panda. At first glance, these images could be mistaken for portraits of wildlife in their natural habitat were created with paper and paint. However, they are actually the incredible works of illusion by talented body painter Gesine Marwedel, who paints models to creates realistic animals. Marwedel, from Dortmund, Germany has always been fascinated by the concept of transferring her designs to human bodies and her latest project features models posing in contorted positions. This Thai Resort Is Surrounded By Trees And Was Inspired By Four Fictitous Clans
Tucked into a sloping hillside on the island of Phuket, Thailand sits Keemala, a resort getaway designed by Space Architects and Pisud Design Company. Rather than tear down the existing vegetation to create the resort, the design focused on complimenting nature and making the most of the landscape that was there.
